Wow that looks awesome, I like how you didn't cover the MB star with the plastidip like most do. Do you just cover the brakes with newspaper or what? Tell us how you did it.

Hey guys,
This literally took me less than 30 minutes, I had a friend help but very simple.
1) Took car to car wash
2) Wiped each wheel thoroughly with water and kitchen towel
3) take a trash bag and thread it through the spokes and wrap the entire brake disc, this is easier than it sounds, you just want to cover the entire rotar and caliper
4) buy 4 cans of plastidip ($5 a can from home depot)
5) pop out the center caps with a knife - very easy
6) spray around the outside of the first rim, them begin spraying each spoke - you want to do it lightly, but still get full coverage
7) do these to each wheel then go back to the first wheel - you don't need to wait for it to dry fully, they dry very quickly
8) do 4-5 coats. I did 4 but I probably will do another in the next few days
more pics to come

Dipped Wheels
Dipped my wheels this weekend. Same process as the OP mentioned, but used 6 coats of matte black and 2 coats of the glossifier to make it more of a sateen look. Also, the more coats you use the more durable it will be and the easier it will be to peel off. Dipyourcar.com has some good instructional videos that show the different application possiblities, emblems, grills, etc.
