Removing water sprinkler stains from my black E550
We are having our kitchen remodeled so I parked my black '12 E550 in the cul-de-sac so the workers could come through the garage. While my E550 was parked outside my neighbor's sprinkling system came on and the droplets pretty much got baked on the E550. I washed it today by hand but that didn't completely remove the "stains". Can anyone recommend a product I can use to get those damn rings off?
TIA.........

Same thing happened to me on my black infiniti. I found this stuff. http://www.3dproducts.com/eraser-onl...ver-16-oz-gel/
Takes the spots right off. No effort whatsoever. Follw the instructions..

I THINK the polish compounds are the least abrasive options, so I'd go with that. Rubbing compounds and clay bars though don't seem it, can more abrasive. Again, I'm actually not 100% sure on this so I'd read up on it. They all will do the job, but you want to use the least harsh one right?

I have the same issue on my black Jeep, tried everything in the world to include water spot remover, vinegar, clay bar, etc. Nothing worked until I got down and dirty with a pad and Meguir's Polishing compound as mentioned above. Took a long time but worked fantastically, then bought a good high quality orbital polisher to finish the rest of the car.
Kicking myself because the best way to deal with them is a consistently good coat of wax to prevent the spots.

Could be done by hand or DA.
