How? V1 Hardwire Into Overhead Sunroof Console?
Does anyone know if it's possible or know which plug i can tap into in the overhead sunroof console to power my V1? So when i start the car the V1 starts and when i turn off the car the V1 turns off.
I know in my old e46 M3 I was able to T-tap into one of the wires to power the V1.
Thanks!

As another member here told me, buy the Savvy unit from Valentine.
It plugs into the OBD port under the dash and you can set it to only activate over a pre-established speed. Thus eliminating false alarms.
Installs in 5 minutes. Works great and turns off when engine is shut down. Cost is about $70.

Thanks, yea I read that, but I didn't want it to draw from the OBD. You'd have to wire it all the way through the A pillars and up the top. Want'ed a more direct sunroof t-tap, but not sure which wire.

There's plenty of space along the windscreen and the A-pillar to run the wire. Totally stealth. No panel removal required. I've had the V-1 connected to the OBD for a year in two different MBs and never had an issue.
To use the overhead, you need to remove the panel, risking damage, find the switched and ground wires and then work in a tight space. I tried going the overhead route. It's a pain.
