New Grill and Clear Side Marker Lights for 2012 E550C
Changed Grill on my 2012 E550 Coupe to Single Fin:

Changed Orange side marker lights to Clear with stealth chrome bulbs (give off Orange light when on but look clear when off):

Congrats!
How did you find putting in the side markers?
I've been mulling over changing mine from orange to clear too.
Looks good overall. I like the interior color too.

On the C, I was able to access the side markers from under the hood.
On the E, I had to pull out the fender liners and access the side markers from the wheel well. The liner is held in place with push pins. Pull the center of the push pin out with needle nose plyers, then remove the outer part of the push pin. Remove about four pins and you can separate the liner enough to access the side marker.

Unless you know of a different method of installation on the C, my experiences installing side markers on the C and E were totally different.
On the C, I was able to access the side markers from under the hood.
On the E, I had to pull out the fender liners and access the side markers from the wheel well. The liner is held in place with push pins. Pull the center of the push pin out with needle nose plyers, then remove the outer part of the push pin. Remove about four pins and you can separate the liner enough to access the side marker.
