Amg bumper part confusion
Hi everyone,
Hoping someone can help - I recently hit a weirdly high curb and messed up the lower part of my bumper pretty badly, so I'm looking around for a replacement. What I'm super confused about is the various part numbers. Are all the bumpers the same with the differences being parktronic, amg, and headlight washers?
For my end of 2010 e class cabrio with amg style pack, parktronic, washers, when putting the VIN in to EPC I got that the part needed is A207 880 04 47 9999. At a different service center they said the proper one is A207 880 36 47.
Found a great looking one on eBay which looks the same but the code is A207 885 27 25...
Are all the mounting points the same? Could the other part number fit?
Thanks

BUMPERS ARE SAME. the difference in numbers are as you mentioned (park tronc, washer and etc. The only difference is what it inside the bumper you chose, you can get 2 different options:
1. what we call "naked" bumper, is when nothing is inside( no plastic parts, no meshes, nothing) - IS what you actually need. Will be one number
2. full set bumper, it includes everything(washer, pull bracket and etc) will be different number
The best solution for you, is to ask your dealer. I would help you, but I do not have US VIN base.
