Air filter? What else?

I've done resonator delete.
I've had ECU upgrade by Euro (stage 1)

Does K&N air filter help performance?

Anything else besides stage 2 to help increase performance?

Car runs great, I just want more!

I would imagine that you would have to upgrade your transmission if you go the stage 2 route. The stock transmission will not last long with a stage 2 ecu tune from what I have been told. Hopefully others will confirm.

How to you like the performance after the tune?

Looking for other options besides stage 2.

Nothing else, outside going to stage 2, is going to give you a big pop in performance. The air filters aren't going to give you a drastic performance improvement. Maybe a few more hp at best, as the engine will breath a bit easier. Certainly can't hurt to do though. It's just not going to be really that noticeable.

I did see a couple of MB this weekend with a NOX setup added on. Both AMGs though and even then the owners had to beef up a lot of engine and transmission items to handle the additional stress. Not something you would want to try with on a stock E550.

Ya unfortunately not much else to do, I got mine on a whim but wish I had researched the car to know there are almost no performance gains to be made. I would have happily paid extra for an AMG, gives me an excuse to keep it as a daily driver and not dump money into it tho lol

How creative/skilled at fabrication are you? I without a doubt suspect a good amount of horsepower/torque lurking in a more efficient open element air filter system. That combined with high flow downpipes and you'd really wake up this beast. Limited slip diff would certainly be worth considering once you do that.

What year is your C207 that there are no performance options available? Just curious.
