2010 E350 Coupe
Loose Sideview Mirrow
Hey everyone! Wondering if you could help here?
I have a 2010 E350 coupe, and my sideview mirror (passenger) is visibly loose, with a fairly severe "wobble" when I reach a certain speed. Now to be clear, it's only the glass, not the housing. I'm concerned that at any moment it's going to crack, or come off while driving.
Is there a way to correct this without having to replace the entire mirror housing? If so, how? If not, is this something that's a simple DIY?
Thanks!

The glass 'mirror' itself does come out / off separately.

I would suggest taking the glass out before it falls out (a) for safety and (b) for cost.
Once the glass is out/off you can figure out why it is loose. Maybe part of the housing has cracked inside or perhaps the mirror just needs new adhesive.

Thanks C230Brit!
I took a closer look, and can see the glass slightly separating from the housing. Now I just need to find a place that sells it. No luck yet.
