OE tune and Painted Calipers

Painted the calipers last week and changed pads. Also installed the OE tuning program and drove it today. Can't say I noticed a difference at this point but its 89 degrees and humid.....so will wait and give feedback later.

Might dyno test it to see what RWHP is..

So today I can feel a difference in the car, especially when manually shifting....lit up the tires pretty good from a roll. I would say for the $ its worth the investment. Also noticed that the cars transition from the cold start table there is no more rough idle(usually happens on all cars a few minutes after start)

Adding some mufflers next

Can you provide details on the OE tune? I have a 2010 E550 and am looking at possible upgrades.

The tune is a claimed +20-30hp improvement over stock

What kind of mufflers were going with? Just swapping mufflers or going for a full system swap? I've been contemplating just having my local shop swap out the mufflers for maybe a Borla Pro XS or something like that, would be a fraction of the cost of what a full aftermarket system is going for .

I Agree, going with a Borla, dynomax magnaflow..not paying a tax for a big name.....your local exhaust guy can usually deliver the sound you want.

My 90 with Corsa.....441rwhp prior to tuning

My 1992 ZR1 with Borla no resonator 391rwhp

I'm glad the OE Tuning Tune has worked well for you. I'm getting the OE Tuning Tune done for my MERCEDES BENZ E550 4.6 biturbo Coupe later this week. I'll post review and dyno test soon.

Please post your review when you do get it tuned! I've been considering it for a while since OE is somewhat cheaper than the others, and they're local so i don't have to remove/ship my ECU out. Thanks.

I was thinking of a tune for my E550 as well. Gonna wait for some more feedback / reviews from you before I tune it though. Maybe next summer haha

On a Mustang Dyno thats impressive....usually pretty tough on the #s vs a dynojet...3-5% lower. Great results

OE is comprised of a great group of guys. I've had them tune my 55k and it's been a beast from day 1 of their tune. Anyone on the fence shouldn't hesitate to give them a ring and try it out.
