Any dark color will eventually show swirls.
Buy a random orbital polisher. Use Google to find out who sells them. This site may have ads.
Also get different texture foam pads to use for different applications. Griots makes pads for polishing, cleaning, swirl removal, etc.
The type of wax is a personal preference. I use Zaino, but there are other comparable waxes and polishes on the market.
Also a clay bar is great for removing swirls and cleaning the paint.

If you have never polished a car with serious equipment before, just pay a professional to do it
You can do damage to your paint if you're not 100% sure of what you're doing, and you may be, but just saying

i think OPs car is "designo graphite metallic", i dont think its matte finish. if thats the case, then yeah, care for it like any other gloss finished paint.

A random orbital polisher will not burn the paint.
A high speed polisher will if you are not careful.
Random orbitals are almost idiot proof.
If you want to cut 50% off your detailing time, go with a ROP.
If not, do it by hand and potentially end up with swirls.
I've used my Porter Cable for 12 years with fantastic results.
Apply your liquid wax with the ROP, let dry and wipe off with a microfiber towel.
