250 CGI(2010) vs 350 CDI(2009)
Hello!
I am eager to become a Mercedes E-class Coupe owner. At this point I am able to only buy used one. I have 2 choices which I can't make my mind on.
1. 250 CGI, Amg, 2010. Pretty basic model with 100k km on odometer
2. 350 CDI, 2009. Has a lot of extra equipment but 160k km on odometer.
I travel about 50k km a year city/highway
I have heard that diesel engines are more preferable as they are more hassle free and are able to do 300-400k km without much of a service (except routine maintenance)
So at this point 350CDI looks more promising. Can anyone suggest things to take into consideration while searching/buying?
Thank you

Mercedes E350 CD Iridium silver convertible 2010
Lower mileage is often more favourable, and younger in age generally means upgrades and spec differences.
The 250cdi you mention is AMG spec, which basically means, bodywork, wheels and suspension. The ride is considered by many to be harsher???
The 350cdi is punchier, but if you on highways then little difference in cruise speeds. Then it is down to specs and goodies and this is very personal as to what you like to play with........
