E250CGI AMG Coupe
Offset but not one I have seen asked

Hi Everyone,

I have just picked up a 2011 E250CGI with the AMG pack, panoramic roof, command a whole lot of other stuff I am still finding out about.

Anyway I have found a set of wheels I like and the front are perfect at 19x8.5 et 35 but the rears are my concern. I have seen no one ask about this offset/size combo.

19x9.5 et40 is what I am looking at. Has anyone tried this?

Many thanks in advance guys

I'm running 19x9.5 with 45 offset (285/30-19 tire) for the rear and the wheel is pretty flush with top of fender. 40 offset may have bit too much poke and may also rub (especially if you plan to lower).

Thanks ffr. I imagine that maybe with a 265 tyre and some negative camber that it might work. Although I realise it may also be 5mm too far as well

Thanks ffr. That gives me a far better idea. I think if I put a 275 or 265 tyre and lower the car and use some negative camber I might just be able to get it to work. Appreciate your help

I have not gone down this route as yet but I am going to have to because every wheel I like has this offset.

I am pretty sure its going to require a slight tyre tuck and possibly some rear guard modding but I will let you know.
