Front bumper mounted camera
My wife is terrified she is going to crash the front bumper chrome trim into a parking lot curb....
Frankly I don't blame her LOL
Has anyone contemplated mounting a camera up there to make sure you don't curb the bumper ?
I have not really done any research yet, but figured a bluetooth camera would be easy enough to do... display it on your smart phone....
Of course the ultimate would be to have it display in the dash screen like the rear view camera
Anybody done this ?
Thanks
Mike

ATT, I did not get the parktronic/distronic package either.
Parking spot curbs, That's exactly what I'm trying to avoid too.
I've started poking around for a small bluetooth camera i can display in the command display.
Found something in Japan but need to do more research...

Hi there; I've got one of those Awesome 2014 E550 Cab's, love the new front end but was terrified of damaging that beautiful spoiler. With a bit of research I found a product called
Curb Alert, it's a small sonar that is multi adjustable.
I made a small plastic bracket that I have mounted to the underside of the front number plate holder, makes it almost invisible when you've finished angling it correctly.
Wiring it was easy, I chose to run it to the dash fuse location at drivers side, as you open the
door. You can set the to 12"-20 if you want, I'm very please with the results.
Cheers.
