2010 E550 Coupe
Facelifting Project
Hi community,
I've been working on a facelift project for some months now and the exterior is 95% done and then going into the interior. Chris has been a great help along the way with his knowledge and also sourcing some parts at a great price. I'm the kind of person that shops around for the best prices and have to tell you guys not to spend hours looking because his prices won't be beat. Along with great prices he also provides a great deal of knowledge which is priceless.
However, here are some pics of my widebody facelift project for your viewing pleasure:

I called the dealer and they told me it's not possible to fit the active LED lights to a car without the premium 2 package already fitted to the car... which seems like a bunch of nonsense if you ask me. What exactly would I need to do to fit the optional full LED headlights to my 2014 E550 Coupe?
My wife's CLS550 has the active LED headlights and I like them very much. Would like to have them on my car.

Alu panel
Hi Chris, need some advise from you,
I'm doing this conversion and noticed this alu button seat belt extender not working, hazard light and seater is working correctly.
Also how you overcome parking sensor and rear deflector as there isn't this button on the alu panel?
Appreciate your help,
Regards
Ivan

Never ever used that button and dont even understand it. But I think it goes on another lin bus or can bus on facelift. Park button is on the centerconsole now at the joystick as you can see in the pics. Also rear deflector is.

Hello all,
Iam Slawek and i´m new in the forum.
First i would like to say that the modifications of Chris are just awesome. O_O
I´m impressed that a person has such a huge knowledge to implement ones modifications.
And it is really helpful that you share your experiences withe the community.
I hope you want be moped if I abuse your thread to ask a question.
I would like to know if it is possible to change the steering wheel in my E350CDI BT Facelift building year 11/2013.
At the moment I got the original AMG-Package steering wheel with lane assist.
I also have the memory seats and the complete assistant-package.
I had a nice offer for the wheel with the follwing part number:
A0004604203
And thats a link to the wheel.
https://www.mbgtc.de/Innenausstattun...MBGTC-374.html
Could I mount the wheel into my car?
Or does I need a new column like the following one?
http://www.ebay.de/itm/Mercedes-Mant...MAAOSwvgdW2tEi
At the end I would like to excuse for my bad english and wish you a restful Sunday.
Best regards Slawek

As I said so many times: Yes it works. You need a 2014 or newer column and a sport airbag. Then it works fine.
