Looks good. I have the same car in obsidian. After a W204 C63 this car is very smooth and quiet. It sure is down on power but it does me given I spend my driving time in bumper to bumper traffic. I am lucky to get to 60km/h.

Which lowering springs did you go with? Any issues at all with rubbing? Also, what are your wheel / tire specs?

I went with the Vogtland lowering springs (made in Germany) that are 4-matic specific and the exact lowering/drop on my car is 1.6" on all 4 corners (not slammed)... and I'm running Conti Extreme DWS tires 245/35/19 & 275/30/19 on a staggered set up with 8.5" front and 9.5" rear. I have never experienced any rubbing even with a full load. Hope this helps.

I tint all of the windows, including the full front windshield with 50% charcoal film - I really like the look with the black pano roof.

After lowering how is the ride? Like the look of some of the mods lowering and wheels but I also want to keep pretty good ride quality....

~ the ride isn't impacted at all via the springs. the larger rims and smaller sidewall make the ride a bit more firm but a minimal difference.

How have you found the lowering springs over the last few months? Did it affect the active damping and what wheel alignment adjustments did you have to make? Thanks, My E400 Is on order, RWD, UK

i think the ride is perfect as it is. I would buy another C63 if i wanted a sportier ride.

Hey Andrew, in this pic it looks like your entire front grille is black except for the center star; I don't see the silver/chrome crossbar or the chrome grille surround trim. Where did you get this grille?

~ it's just the lighting... this is a stock grill and the flat silver was painted gloss black to provide a more finished look. all of the chrome accents are still in place.
