So ive had the car a few days now im getting to know the noises and so on. how ever, on occasions when i lock the car (mirrors have finished folding in) there seems to be a loud whining for around 2 to 3 seconds and i cant locate it! It only happens probably 3/10 times

If you have the intelligent led headlights system, it could be the fans that cool the headlights. They remain on for a few seconds to minutes, even after the engine has been shut off.

Are you sure you haven't left your wife or kids in the car? They have been known to whine frequently! LOL

Are you sure you didn't lock your spouse it the car? That would cause lots of whining noise!
