Headlight Hell

I stupidly thought I could change headlights on my coupe. I have 2010 and am putting on a 2015 front end, ie new headlights are required. I had HiD w/active curvelights. Well I didn't, the car had no front clip when I bought it. I am switching to LED (static) lowbeam lamps with an H7 highbeam. I am not asking for help with that because it is a CF and the dealers around here aren't willing to touch it. I downloaded the wiring diagrams for both headlights, but they have bad info. Saying a numbered post controls the low beam when there is not a post on that number. You can see how my CF is evolving. I took apart a new headlight just so I could see what the wires actually did. I realized that I needed an old headlight to do the same. The weird thing and the reason for this post, is that the 2010 headlight has an H7 bulb in it (in the middle) that doesn't come on. It has an LED module for turn, an LED module for parking light (projector), HiD for low beam, and it activates a lever so this same HiD produces a high beam.
This H7 is wired up but in a position that can't do anything. Any ideas WTF it is for ? Thanks
