wiper replacement

It was time to replace my wipers and after seeing the prices for replacements {O'Reilly parts wanted $24 ea. for their least expensive ones and OEM are $50+] I decided to look online and found a YouTube video showing replacement with Goodyear wipers from Costco.
I got 2 wipers at Costco for $7.99 each and the wipers on this car are the easiest to exchange on any car I have ever owned.
Took less than 5 minutes to replace and they are working great!

That and $10 will get me a halfway decent bottle of scotch

I think with wiper blades you find out down the track if the quality is there. Personally I would only put OEM on my car but each to their own.

I could replace these 3 times and not expend the same funds as for the OEM. But as you say, to each his own.
Note: They are working just fine to start, but I'd bet seeing the Goodyear trademark as one looks through the wind screen could be disconcerting for some

They either work effectively or they don't. I've never really noticed much of a difference between wiper brands personally but I typically replace them every year or so.

$50/year is literally nothing.

I recently bought the original equipment Bosch blades for $37 a pair online at mbonlineparts.com

I have never changed the wipers on my 2012 E550 coupe so the Bosch's held up for 4 years. Could have kept them on for longer but decided was best to finally change them out since I was changing the air filters. I do have to agree that these were the easiest blades to change on any of my cars.

The box had a sticker on it with, what I assume is the OE part reference, 3397118938 and the Bosch model number was A938S.

These seem identical to the ones I took off as they had the Bosch logo on them.

Hope that helps.
