Best Tires for 2013 E550 Cabriolet?

I am looking to replace the current 4 Pirelli tires on my 2013 E550 Cabriolet. The tires now on the car are Pirelli P Zero Nero "Fronts - 235 /40 R18 HM+S" Backs - 255 / 35 R18 HM+S".

I have heard that if the gap in the center tread on the tries is wide, it creates more tires noise. Not sure if this is true or not.

I am after the best tires with longest life, and best for handling corners and speed.

Thanks

Thanks
i had a w204 with the same tire sizes f/r. When it came time to replace the oem tires on those, i got the continental dws. I was very happy with it, the treadwear was very good. It was rated for dry wet and snow (dws). I did however change the rears from 255 to 265/35 18. That 10mm diff in width for the rears helped lessen the wheel spin i used to get on the oem 255's every time i would come out of turns. It didn't make a diff on my speedometer either.
Also, i think the dws has been discontinued and the new ones are called dws 06. Which i've read are even better.
Hope this helps...

Thank you for the reply. I was looking at these two tires below for options.

Pilot Sport A/S 3+

I run Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 and they have proven to be a great all-around performance all-season tire and although I have less than 10,000 miles on these tires, they are showing very good treadwear life (Treadwear rating of 560). I run larger sizes on my E550 Coupe: 255/35-19 Front and 285/30-19 Rear.

I've got a '14 E550 Cab with the Pilot/Sport. 25,000 miles and they look like they'll go another 15. best wearing tire I've ever had.

I also have had the Conti DWS and now running Conti DWS 06. Last long, quiet, great in wet, dry, snow. Would get them again.

Thank you for all the replies. Looks like the Pilot's would be my best bet.

Now on the rears is it better to stay with the stock size or go bigger to the 265 size ones?

For better rear grip (which the E550 needs) and slightly more sidewall (assuming keep same aspect ratio), I vote yes.

If you're using the stock rims, you can go with 265/35 18. You won't regret it...
