Ever wanted to have Sport Mode permanently on?

Have an E550/E350 Coupe with Dynamic Handling package? Ever wish you'd always have Sport Mode on, and can't seem to live without the higher shifting and firm suspension settings? Well do I have a solution for you!

Turns out, during one of my latest installation trips for my exhaust, one of the guys accidentally unplugged a sensor in my driver side rear struts. These are the "Dampener Sensors" that are attached to the struts themselves with a clip-on T-section. They're very easy to spot, as they the only electrical connection that stems from the round tube.

Step 1: Simply disconnect one of the sensors

Now you have Sport Mode on consistently, even on a restart. I've been driving around with it for the last week before I figured it out (with the help of Vaco Mercedes Benz Service). Transmission and handling is just like normal Sport Mode, you just don't have the option to turn it off anymore.
