Facelift 2010-2015 USA (e550)
I'm on 7 months of doing this conversion, made more difficult by the fact I had no front end parts to start with. At this point I have purchased all the parts on the parts diagrams and have made sure the support pieces match between 2010 and 2015, but my body shop says the 2015 front bumper cover won't go on. Has anyone done this in the USA ? Are there pieces that I am missing ? I bought all the pieces seen in these to diagrams, but no go. I am wit's end.
Thanks
Thanks

Well it is done. Of course it is raining, I live in Portland.
The 2010 e550 in Dec 2015 as I bought it.
And now.
Have a little fog in the headlight, but I guess that is what happens when you split it apart :-( The grill is OE the black version, the bottom 'chrome' trim is carbon fiber wrap, but you can't tell with the low light.
Thanks to Chris for the encouragement. Even with the MBZ EPC parts catalog, it was hard to do, especially with so many missing parts.

Very nice. What bumper is that? I like it. Is the license plate frame part of the bumper?
How was the headlight programming? You do it yourself or bring it somewhere?

It is the standard AMG style 2014+ US bumper I bought on ebay. The license plate frame I had painted too. It is a euro part number and you can't order it from MB USA, so I bought it on ebay in germany. The red trim at the bottom is something I fabricated, since I liked how it looks on the new CLA sport. I also installed and had to epoxy the Parktronic sensors since they weren't an option on the bumper I bought. I left off Distronic because all this was breaking the bank and the distronic part is about $1800.
The headlights were a nightmare. That nightmare began when I was told by MBUSA that they will not allow US dealers to program headlights for a car that are not OE. They claimed some Department of Transport rule. SO after much experimentation, I found 2 headlights that were already programmed (with ballast intact) and had to rewire them on the inside and created a new wire harness on the outside. Since the original HiD headlight had a motor and flap for high beam, there is no 'wire' to signal the H7 high beam on the LED headlight. At the moment I use a wireless relay switch. Eventually I will tap the high beam circuit on the steering column to switch it on and off. I also added an aftermarket DRL strip inside the headlight, which was probably a mistake since I apparently didn't glue the headlight back together well enough. I also removed the US only orange reflector. The low beam and the side marker light (was on bumper 2010, now inside headlight 2014+) both require a canbus fake out resistor.
Here is a picture of the diagram

Looks good! When you removed the amber reflector is there an empty spot there now, or anything "unfinished" looking? I know some cars have a clear reflector where we receive the amber version. If possible could you post (or PM) a pic? Only asking as it would save me (and others) the expense & hassle of obtaining the euro version in order to remove that (imo) eyesore. Thanks in advance.
