new owner here.... i finally got my new to me 2015 e class 550 coupe ... and i was looking a the sedan and see the have a aftermarket diamond grill for the sedan... was wondering if sedan and coupe can swap grills ?

any help and advice appreciated thanks in advance guys !

Kevin9664, how is someone suppose to do a search for a diamond grill when the topic subject to which you refer is spelled "daimond"? Are we expected to do topic searches before asking a question on this site? Is it possible by re-opening a topic, others not aware of the topic's history may have something to contribute?

Lol yeh valid point on the spelling. But even just searching "grill" you will be shown the list of threads relating to grills.

And typically you should do a search before starting a new thread. You will find a lot of answers already. It's just quicker to look for the answers instead of waiting for them. Also, anytime you post on an existing thread no matter how old, it gets moved to the top of the front page so everyone will see there's a new post. They are all listed chronologically by posts. Also, everyone that has posted in the thread before gets notified of a new post.

It's just good to have related together instead of all spread out if it can be helped.

Kevin9664, im with you on the "search before post" thing. not offense but...you could have simply answered the main question by the OP...which is NO, grilles from sedan and coupe/con cannot swap.

EDIT, seen some diamond grille for coupe on ebay. dont have the link.

In short, the answer is no, the sedan grill will not fit the coupe. There is a diamond grill made for the '14+ coupes/convertibles but they are pretty expensive compared to the other ones. Here are some links. Hope that helps! And if you do end up getting one. Post pics after you install it!
