Doing brakes. 18MM bolts are a PITA
Any secret to the 18 mm bolts holding on the caliper bracket? Reverse thread or just being stubborn?
I've just about run out of PB soaking them.
Replacing the rotors and these must come off to get rotor off.
TIA.

Nevermind...
My old butt just needs to work out more. Soaked them for an hour and used a box end wrench backing up a ratchet. Nearly blew out my o ring but got em off.

Yeah they are just in there very tight and have the encapsulated sealant on them which makes them a real bear to get out.
FYI, they are considered one-time use only by MB, due to the nature of the sealant. They will be just fine to re-use, as long as you torque them down properly, but if you don't want to replace them, the best alternative is removing all of the blue/yellow crud on the threads and applying a little blue loctite in it's place.
