I am new to the message board here with a 2012 E350 Coupe P1 with AMG trim. I have searched the old messages, but I can't find this anywhere in the owner's manual or in old messages. In my Audi and BMW, when you shut down the car with the stereo on, it resets the stereo volume to a preset lower volume for the next startup. Bose had a way to enter a service mode and set the startup volume. Is there a way to do this on Mercedes, or do you just have to remember to turn the volume down before you get out of the car? Seems like a common feature in other cars. I'm surprised the manual doesn't address it.
