how to remove instrument cluster on 74 240d
I am trying to fix my odometer and replace the bulbs in my cluster and almost got the cluster out. Last thing I can't remove is this cable (see image). I think I have to unscrew it or remove the screws attached to cluster. Which one, and is it suppose to be super tight?

you unscrew the cable... use a 10mm wrench... you can hold the thing it plugs in to with 13mm (I belive)... but unscrewing the cable with a 10 will get it free... this is your mechanical oil pressure.... so don't turn on the car with this unplugged or you'll get a face full of oil...
