So I just bought a 1981 Mercedes 300D and noticed it doesnt have a passenger side mirror. I read somewhere that it was an option to have a passenger mirror. Can I attach a passenger side mirror to the vehicle if it did not come with one or do i need to buy a mount or something?

My 77 came with no passenger side mirror. I got the mirror, inside plastic triangle plate, screws and manual lever handle at a local "pull-a-part". Total cost was about $10.00. Installed and all is well.
