Question Help wont start when cold

When the car sits over night and I try to start it in the morning, I wait till the glow plug light goes out, then I turn the key to start but absolutely nothing happens, no click, no sound, nothing .
I turn the key off and repeat for about 12 more times. Then go inside and try again about 5 min later and it starts.
In the afternoon it starts every time. This only happens when it sits over night.
The battery is fine, the charging system is working. what part(s) should I change? or how do I trouble shoot the cause?
In the mean time I will go ahead and thank you for your help with this

I just got this car so I have not changed anything yet.
The weird thing to me is the engine does not turn over when the switch is moved to the start position when this happens, then all of the sudden after however many trys the eng will spin and start right up.
next time this happens I am going to trick the solenoid and see if the starter turns then. I think it might be the switch part on the back of the ignitiion switch.
I definitely plan on putting in new glow plugs in a payday or 2 if it will wait that long.

I lied

I lied, the battery was bad. I went to Autozone and they checked the Battery and charging system. Told me the battery was bad so I replaced it.
OMG! these batteries are heavy... Well anyway, I have not had the starting problem again since i did that.
I'm still going to put new glow plugs in so I have that warm fuzzy feeling

That's great
Glad to hear it was something simple.

I wouldn't replace a working part, but if it makes you feel better, by all means.
