I don't know how far you are in the swapping but I can only give you a few hints.
1. keep track of all your nuts and bolts ( losing one might be catastrophic if its a special one)
2. be patient
3. make sure the engine you are swapping into your car runs
4. while the engine is out clean it and swap all the filters
If you haven't done the swap yet good luck ! If you have let me know how it wenth

Thank you for your reply and hints
I had experience with engine swap but for japanese cars, and using standalone.
Never try for european car.
I haven't start it yet, but i will.
Little bit confuse if the engine for swap has immo.
hardware part for sure will work.

Well i have one w123 240D, and if was you i didnīt swap the engine. 240D are underpowerd cars but its enough for people that dont do allot of highway miles.
The 250D engine is a good engine ( i had one 20 years ago) but trust me you will regreat swapping the engine. You will spend to much money and time doing that so i suggest that you buy other car and keep the 240D. The w123 car are going to increase allot the value in a near future. If you 240D engine is broken and fixing cost are too high get another engine. If you want other car i suggest a Mercedes W124 300D automatic ( they are exelent cars). If you have a more decent budget and live in europe i suggest a w203 220 cdi automatic ( love that car). Kind regards
