Will a 190 5 speed manual transmission fit a 1983 300CD? Had my automatic transmission worked on and car still flaring. Also, unless is just mine, our cars do not have an overdrive feature. In the DC area you have to drive like a maniac, same as they do and a car that does not accelerate quickly can get you hurt. Just figured a manual tranny will mitigate the flaring and maybe make up for the low acceleration ratio.

I'm curious about this question as well it would be nice to get a extra gear on my car even if its not stock.
