Window Switch Wires, which pins?
Hello,
I have an '83 300D Turbo. The wires for the front door passenger window, in the center of the console, are disconnected (long story) and the black cover which positions the connectors at the end of the wires is missing.
Does anyone know which color wire connects to which pins on the window switch?
TIA, Marc

Interesting. I just ran the VIN, WDBAB33A5DB033363, on the CARFAX website and it correctly indicated the make and model.
I also just double checked the plate at the windshield and the registration. All match.

We use MB WIS and noticing that with older vehicles such as yours we can't display the datacard.
In your case the database just indicated there was an issue with the VIN and could not display the datacard.
I am sure that at a dealership with a networked WIS system you will be better served.
(As an afterthought)--typically there are three wires per switch--can you identify the three wire colors for the subject switch
