W124 400E 120k maintenance

Hey guys, I'm Colin, I'm new here. Just bought a '92 400E from Florida, now in NY, one owner accident free, great shape. Runs like a beast, pulls hard from 0-60, surprisingly faster than my '07 Acura. My only concern is, I honestly don't think much has been done to it maintenance wise with exception of a water pump and engine/transmission mount, and I'm really a perfectionist when it comes to maintaining my cars. I plan to convert it to synthetic oil, Amsoil 0w30 Signature Series seems to be the best, then Seafoam the ol' girl. Is there anything I should do to it? I was thinking spark plugs/wires, transmission filters, and all fluids from Amsoil. Do you guys think I should stick with OEM MB fluids or anything? Also, head gasket, engine garness, "valve job" or seals? Kinda new to MB here lol thanks for all the help in advance

if the wiring harness is original it definitely needs to be replaced.

Agree on the harness. Its the source of many electrical problems--I just had mine replaced on my 92 400E.

Radiators tend to be a problem at this age although can be replaced by most shade tree mechanics. Timing chain should also be replaced but have that done by someone who knows how.
