Any DIY method to fix peeling clear coat?

It's only on one spot on the hood. I was thinking of using 1500 grit and clear spray can...

Theres 2 ways to do it wet sand the spot and do a heavy wax or wet sand the hole hood and clear coat the whole hood. Make sure when you wet sand to have a bottle of soap and water. My friend swears by the ace hardware polyurethane brand clear coot!
