Mercedes benz 190E m104 modified
RPM Reading issue

Dear all,
I have recently modified my 190E engine to a m104 ; the 2.8L one. I'm currently facing a problem with the RPM as it is not reading right & I've searched for the other tachometer the one ending in 260 KM/hour but I couldn't find it, if any one can tell me another solution for this problem I would be much grateful. Thank you

Tachometers are rarely sold separately; they are normally sold together with the entire instrument cluster which is plentiful in supply on eBay. Not sure (a) if the physical size of a M104 tachometer would fit into the 190E casing; and (b) whether you also need to change the engine speed sensor.
