Tires I Liked
My 1992 300TE is getting a new set of tires. Found a good deal on Sumitomos.
I was very happy with the Fluent Warrior tires I am replacing, since they have worn down a good deal, and I have put 27K miles on them.
I bought the wagon used with the Fluent 205/60/15s on them. Always kept them at 35psi. They handled extremely well, with no loud tire noise at all. Even with a recent week of rain, they held the road great in their worn condition.
So if anyone is looking for tires for their wagon or other MB, consider the Fluent. Don't know much else about them, and they may be hard to find at dealers.
I've also had a set of Goodrich on my Volvo for the last 7 years, i put 20K miles on them (came with the car when I bought it) and there is still good tread left.
I have never had a flat with either set of tires.
