91 300CE - warm starting problems
91 W124 300CE 24V (80K miles) starts fine from a cold start. When driven & then try to restart from a warm engine, car is difficult to start (bucks & stalls) & requires tender foot on the accelerator to gently get it to smooth out at 1500-2000 RPM for about 20-30 seconds before releasing accelerator & then is fine again. drives fine afterewards. any thoughts plz??

Similar issue - cutting out on short journeys
my car is expressing a similar problem it will start and drive fine from cold albeit a longer journey than 2 miles. If it is a short journey like just to the shops i have a problem when i get back into the car and start it. it more than likely starts fine but when put into gear and i press the accelerator pedal it will cut out for some strange reason?
I have to let the whole car cool down again for that same short journey? is this something over heating perhaps. It is quite a pain and getting really annoying now. I have shown it to several mechanics who do not know what it can be.
I have changed many thing on the car hoping it would solve the issue but sadly all to no affect.
Any help guys?
