One more A/C issue

While I will likely be tearing into the dash/console kick panel on the pass side to see how we can reach a vacuum line, I'd like to know what we'll discover inside. Will we need to get more vacuum line before starting?

THe issue is (with a new compressor and Rec/dryer and R134) is the system seems to be blowing a lot of cold air inside the dash, but when it comes to exiting at the vents, it's more akin to one blowing in their hand in a feeble attempt to blow out a candle. The Recirc button seems to improve situations, but only slightly. The A/C climate control unit appears to be okay, as in pushing the buttons does seem to make some difference (fan speed, defrost, etc all seem to be okay).

Will we be embarking upon a snipe hunt or will it be a good place to begin the work on a solution?

Thanks.

It sounds like you have a ductwork issue...the vac lines typically just run the valves to open and close vents...it sounds like you You are starting off in the correct area, move to the drivers side footwell and aroung the steering column/instrument cluster next.
Plan on getting your torso into a pretzel configuration. You might think about disconnecting the battery to not change an airbag trigger...those arent good when your head is in there at odd angles.
