Help needed w124 e320 convertible
I'm having now a seriously damaged w124 e320 convertible, well we are importing them from US, but actualy i havent worked with as damaged one as this.
anyway, i want ot open the soft top (its closed normaly atm), BUT we removed the engine and transmission, and most part of the engine bay including the removable electronics-wiring. so this means the normal way of opening wont possible. Additionaly the hydraulic pump is damaged too, its oil container just lost during shipment (otherwise its may work)
with this conditions, Is there any possible way to open the soft top manualy without damaging everything?
I think the most important to open anyhow is the top lock cylinder in the soft top lid cover, if thats open the rest can be easly done.
if anyone could help me...
/sorry if kind of problem had beed discussed here already, i havent find it then.

Can you help me which hydraulic cylinder do you mean ?
anyway, my point is to be able to remove the whole soft top system, not just open. (its nacessary for the body and paint job.)
as a mad solution, if i open the two lock over the windshield, then i remove every bolt and hydraulic part of the soft top on the B pillars (if i can in closed positions, dont know yet), after that i can turn the whole thight non "closed" soft top including the still closed lid cover on it, till i have enough place under the lid cover to remove and somehow open its lock.
in case if you donk know what i mean,i just made a pic...
