19s on a W124 are OK ( I ran 19" CLS63 rims a for a bit myself)...a bit out of genre for most but they'll work with the correct offsets and tire sizes. You'll lose most of the 'comfort' ride that the W124 is known for, but no biggy there. Also, the price jump in new tires from an 18 to 19 is significant.
