help! fuel/temp/oil gauge failed!

All three gauges on my 1989 300TE have inexplicably gone bad simultaneously--everything else on instrument cluster is working fine. Is there some sort of fuse behind the cluster that controls all three of these? At the same time, there has developed a slight buzz/whine in the same area, which must be related. Any thoughts?

Looks like you've got some fuse swapping to do my friend.

If you have the aluminum/ceramic fuses, you might be better served to swap them for the copper/ceramic fuses. I did that on my car and it got rid of a ton of intermittent issues I had.

And if that don't work I'd be checking the back of the cluster make sure you haven't somehow pulled out a lead !
