E320 W124 Convertible Puzzle
I have an E320 convertible with the factory wind deflector.
The puzzle is how is the wind deflector is supposed to store in the trunk?
There's an elasticized belt and hook in the trunk, and a molded place in the trunk to slip the deflector into; but I can't figure out where the elasticized belt and hook attach to the deflector?
I called both MB dealers, and looked in the manual to no avail.
I'm sure someone on the forum probably knows.
Any help is appreciated!!

Usually, if your wind deflector is a genuine one and sold with the new car, it has a special place in the back of the car's trunk in which you enter the folded windshot. You have a different boot lining than those that weren't sold with it. Grooves are located on both sides to enable the deflector to slide into the boot and fix it securely while driving. This picture shows the right corner of the boot interior. Hope it helps you.
