E320 94 Cab convertible top spring link
Hi, I'm looking for a small part for my 1994 E320 Cabriolet. I'm not sure what this part is called, and I can't find it on the MB parts explosions - even spent half an hour with the dealer parts guy, and he couldn't figure it out either.
I'm looking for the little spring link that connects on one side to the top mechanism, and on the other side to the little door that covers some of the mechanism and gets pulled closed by the link when the top is taken down. It has sockets on both ends that fit into ***** on the car. I'm attaching a couple photos with the culprit circled.

Out Of Control!!
Quite possibly the orientation of the part has fooled you----go back and look at group 77 sub group 015 part 124 774 03 34 spring--------is that what you are looking for???

Thanks, but that isn't it. I'm attaching two more photos - the first is a closer-up view, and the second an exploded view of the damaged part. The left "prong" is about the way it should be, the right is bent way out of shape and doesn't want to bend back. These pieces fit together like a puzzle and form the piece I need. Thanks for your help! Steve

Thanks for the additional view. I have rechecked all applicable folding roof, coverings, but could not find your parts called out. I suspect like with many small bumper parts they are included with larger assemblies. I believe that to be the case with your parts. You can see the assembly that your parts are apart of but the individual parts are not called out---therefore like the previous I was unable to define your parts.
In the final I would give MB USA a call and ask for factory assistance!!

Thanks, Plutoe - that's sort of what I've been thinking. Thought I'd give it a try. I'll call MB on a day where I'm working from home.
Anyone know of a salvage yard or someone parting an E320 cab out? Steve
