My 1990 260E "Progress Report"...

Just sharing some pictures of my 260E

When I bought her, she looked like this :



and the interior looked like :



Now...

Got myself "period" headlights


Fixed the "carbon fibre" center console and gear knob


Changed rear lights (amber indicator) which is correct for 1990 and repainted the bumper moulding to flat black


Here are some before & after picture comparisons

Nice job, however moving the steering wheel to the passenger side, is that required in Indonesia???

well... first of all, if you have read what i wrote, Im not from/in Indonesia...

And no, Malaysia is a RHD country and the car is already a RHD.

I find it interesting that you went back to a more stock/period correct look. Most people want to go the other direction haha.

The wood looks great! Is that new, or did you restore that yourself?

Sent the wood to a restoration shop about 10 miles from where Im staying. Cost about USD60

A little update...

Fitted to "correct" 15-hole wheels instead of the 5-spoke previously on the car.
