Vacuum line

I just replaced the head gasket on my '92 300TE 4Matic and I can't for the life of me locate where this line should connect. I purchased the car new in the US (California model) and subsequently brought it to Norway. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Where is the line coming from? I really can't tell by the picture of which line you are talking about.

The little "gizmo" on the firewall on the left side of the picture (with two red wires attached) receives suction from the intake manifold. As you cab see it has an outlet on the bottom that goes out towards the driver side of the car. It then make a U-turn and gives rise to the black and white line. It is this line that I can't find the attachment to. As mentioned the car is 100% original as I am the first and only owner and none of these lines have ever been touched
