Climate control
Hello there.
Does anyone has the wiring diagram and components location chart for W124 E220 ( 1994) climate control system to share with me.
The tech missed up the wiring of my car climate control. I notice that some connections have been by-passed, e.g the pressure switch. The engine RPM drops momentarily at idle when the AC compressor comes on. The engine stabilization control for the AC appears to have disconnected. So, I need to fix the system. I recently the W124 workshop manual but unfortunately it does not cover the E-class model, 1993-1995.
Will appreciate your help
Thank you

Thanks Plutoe.
Most of the techs are uneducated, they create more problems. I have decided to fix the problem myself. So, I need to put back the original ACC wiring. I just had the compressor replaced with the OEM compressor. The tech installed a non OEM compressor without the speed sensor connected. A strange relay also was installed for this compressor wired to the air quantity switch!
Please I need to put the speed sensor, pressure switch, compressor clutch wiring back as in the original circuit. Unfortunately, the workshop manual I purchased does not cover the E220 but the earlier models.
So my questions:
1) To which module/switch do the compressor's clutch and sensor leads connect to. From the manual, I see that the leads are connected to the N6 compressor control unit for the earlier models?
2) which circuit or wiring controls the engine stabilization at idle for the ACC? Is this done by the HFM-SFI ECM? Please I need to understand the wiring.
Regards.

Out Of Control!!
What is your VIN!!
PS: You are wasting our and your time if you do not put the correct AC compressor in the car---as an example the AC cutout control unit takes the compressor speed and engine speed and when there is a thirty percent difference -- the ac cutout control turns off the compressor------without a ac speed sensor where does the control unit get the speed data!!
Put the correct compressor in and get on with your life!!

Many thanks.

Just checked. I could not locate the N6 module indicated in the drawing on the car. The manual I have ( for the earlier models) indicates it is located at " right side of the component compartment, behind battery" . The location picture is provided but N6 module is not at the mentioned site , for the W124022 apparently? Thank you so much for your time and effort.

All the documentation I have looked at locates the N6 module on the right side rear corner---the N6 and the N16/2 are side by side--should be two metal lift off caps about an inch by two inches
