Wife drove it thru the car wash with it up and broke it off. Posting this on the fly thru an airport while on business travel. 3 questions:


1) Sites to order turn key replacement?
2) Any links to a step by step replacement?
3) Will I have to remove and run an entire length of cable from the antenna to the radio head (still have original stereo), or is there a short disconnect in the trunk somewhere to simplify R&R?


Any info is appreciated.

I think you can just replace the antenna mast. As long as you can still hear the motor running, you should be OK with replacing the mast. It is relatively easy to do too.

Well that's good to hear. Yes the motor still runs. I'm assuming once I remove it it'll be fairly apparent how to replace just the mast?


So where would I find a replacement mast?

You can replace the mast .Pick one up from Ebay .Your mast type number will be on the very top end of the last section of your old aeriel .All information on how to fit it will be in the bag it comes in. Also, you should think about replacing the rubber grommet that it is fixed in to your wing. I have replaced a few of these.Just want your friend to switch on the key so it takes the new plastic gear down in to the aeriel gears. Remove the aeriel and make sure you have no old bits of the broken aeriel inside,if you dont clean it out it will damage your new one your fitting in..Any problem pm me.
