W124 started in 84 to 95, then MB replace it to W210 till 2002..?!!!!?

0 means automatic transmission
23 means 2300cc engine

It is an invalid vin, one of the check digits is off.. It's either been tampered with, or you typed it wrong. Please retrieve it and double check it again.

Also the 10th digit of the vin number is the year indicator. Based on that vin, it is a 2001 model year.

Assuming when this W124 imported, the custom register the M/Y of this car wrongly..!,,

it happened to my friend's 3 years ago with his R129, they register it as 2004 R120..

I would think that the vin plates would be rivited to the body and not screws..

Anyone one for this [screws ] not rivits to hold the plate on to the body work this its not righ to me ...

Some shops remove this plate for painting, then when they return it, they screw it instead of rivet it...!

there is a Datacard at the Server from Mercedes-Banz Stuttgart.
I cheked it out. The 230 E was delivered at Frankfurt Germany.
It was ordered in 1987. The color is arctic white. Inside is blue
