W124 95 E320 a good buy?
I need some opinions from the guys who currently own a W124. All opinions are greatly appreciated.
This is a 95 E320 with 125k miles. The owner says it runs and shifts perfect, AC blows cold, Clean title, smog was complete, new tires, two keys.
They're only asking 2500, is this too low for a car in this condition?
Any opinions or cautions before buying this particular car or W124's in general?

Reasonable price if in good shape. Spend a couple hundred for an inspection and enjoy. Sold my 1987 W124 with 165,000 mi last yr for $1800. The 124 is virtually bulletproof. Spent very little in 24 yrs of ownership.

That car has the biodegradable wiring harness so I would check to see if it has been replaced. There is a date tag behind the battery if there are no records verifying replacement. These cars are known for needing a head gasket and transmission rebuild between 150k and 200k miles but don't let that deter you. The W124 is a fantastic car and this one looks nice from the pictures.
