Climate control air conditioning system wiring
PO butchered my w124 air con system.
The air conditioner compressor clutch has apparently been welded on. There is an aftermarket switch with some wires in the cabin which turns it on and off (and strength of blower).
I'm trying to figure out if I can revert it to stock. I have ordered a new compressor (A0002300511), air con switch (A1248302485) and air con resistor (A1248210060) as told by my suspect mechanic.
Anyone know which parts of the climate control/air con system I should be looking over to see if they need reversion to stock or repair? In particular I can't find the wiring that goes to the compressor (it looks as if the PO has wired it directly into the air con, what I think is called the stator)- does anyone have a quick explanation of the entire system so I can trace it/figure out what's missing/need repairs?
my VIN is WDBEA26D3KB057405
Once I know what is missing I guess I'll try to find the correct part numbers...

This are really a lot of things. I'll open stuff up tomorrow and start to try identifying each part of listed on this diagram.
I get the feeling I may have bitten off more than I can chew thinking I can revert to stock.. :|
