CIRCULATION PUMP LEEAK W124 M103
Hi to you all ,can i ask if its possible to repair the water heater circulation pump its fixed on the body under the coolant tank.It takes water up and through to the cars heater system. Can you get repair kit? As my Mot was done to-day. So on return i checked the fluids to find coolant driping from the centre of the curculation pump .This is the first time on the road this year. After a lot of work on the engine ie water pump belt tensioner pullys. And still have a water leak. But this will be an easy fix for once .

I regret to advise that I have never found a repair kit and have always had to replace what you call the water heater circulation valve.
However that said there has to be an old fart out there that after weeks of research(time) finds a part used on the space shuttle that works in his application.
Therefore you may want to take the time to look, as you have all spring, summer and fall before the car goes back to the garage.

Please look at your first post where you describe the part as "to repair the water heater circulation valve" ----all I know is what folks say---- you say valve I say pump. Regardless of description there are no known repair kits---if folks are sure the leak is not from a rotting hose connection then they typically purchase a used or new pump

Plutoe i am very sorry ,your are right , and i am wrong ,as usual my wife tells me ..A senior moment i think they call them .As i have worked on so many bits on this car i ramble on a bit. It is the circulation pump for the heater. After i replacing the water pump for coolant loss ,the belt tensioner was replaced along with the pullys .Small elbow in the radiator was also leaking this was replaced at the same time.As all looked ok the day. Then i took the car for its MOT [ yearly road worthy test] but on checking it the next day. That was after i had returned , this circulation pump was dripping coolant and level was down in expansion container. I am just about to remove it from the car so i an operate on it . Let you know what i find asap.
