air conditioning on 1989 260e

i have replaced the compressor, it's full of freon.....but, something is causing the compressor to kick off after driving the car for 10-15 min...i took it back to the shop, it sat couple days, he started the car up, and air was blowing ice cold again...i went and picked the car up, drove it maybe 15 min.....compressor kicked off again.....any ideas for me??

Is the car Japanese or European---if European you want your AC guy/girl or both to put gauges on the car, run AC at max start the car and hope you have a problem as you are looking and listening at this point while checking coolant temp sensor, AC speed sensor and the two function refrig pressure switch---how to test---- hope and pray your AC guy knows what he is doing, however if he is your ex wifes cousin---you have a problem----find someone who knows about your 124.026 and start over.

All this assumes that you had installed a new repeat new rebuilt compressor!!
