W124 280te to w140 300 3.2L
Hello!
New to the forum and got some problems.
I have a Mercedes-Benz w124 280te 93 mod.
Just changed the engine to a 3.2L 300 from a w140 s class.
Trying to hook it up with the wiring harness from my 280.
Planing on buying a original harness for the w140, but sould be able to start it with the wiring harness from my 280?
Most of the wires fits, but it has only one coil instead of the 3 coils on my 280.
So i bought. A sinlgle coil and woundering how i should hook it up.
Have been reading abit on forums and stuff but cant find enywhere about them.
So do i need 12v from the ignition and ground only?
The wire from the distributor fits right on the coil.
Or is it posible to use the spark plugs with the coils on them from my 280?

What? There was no M104 3.2L with a single coil available. Show pictures of the new engines, i suspect its a M104 3.0 with KE-Jetronic CIS injection.
